Mansfield based Central Computer Management Ltd (CCM) has launched what it believes to be the very first Cloud based payroll service aimed at UK businesses and public sector organisations.
The pioneering computing payroll service is called LivePay and is designed to replace complicated in-house payroll systems, thus removing the headaches HR and finance departments face each month when working out salaries; especially for companies and organisations with multiple sites.
The introduction of Cloud technology to payroll systems means that all calculations for time and wages are done on-line and off-site, which means they can be accessed from anywhere with a PC. There is no need to install software, the use of complicated manuals or expensive training. All the hardware is managed securely by CCM, freeing the client up to be more effective and cost efficient in their roles.
"Our aim with LivePay is to make payroll as simple as possible and we feel that we have achieved this through the use of innovative Cloud technology. We have over 30 years' experience in providing payroll services and have always tried to be at the cutting edge of new technology. Cloud technology allows us to provide a service that eradicates a lot of headaches for clients and we are confident we can increase the efficiency of most payroll operations."
"We provide an effective personalised service and all of our customers are guaranteed to receive a rapid response from our knowledgeable and experienced payroll team. Payroll need not be complicated or burdensome and with LivePay that is the case," said Managing Director of CCM, Keith Johnson.
Several of the UK's leading brands have signed up to use the LivePay service, including Weetabix, Kingston Communications and Autoglass.
Cloud technology helps to improve efficiency, particularly for companies with various regional locations and have 200 employees or more.
"The beauty of LivePay is that it can be accessed from anywhere and is live 24 hours a day. It allows managers to input information at any time and provides a permanent record to double check hours etc. It really speeds up the whole data process and gives responsibility to people who manage payroll information," said Keith Johnson. With LivePay the payroll service is accessed by customers through encrypted web browsers or desktop applications, providing them with the convenience of accessing all payroll information remotely and efficiently, with data being securely stored on CCM servers.
By offering LivePay through Cloud technology, customers can enjoy multiple benefits from the LivePay service:
• A secure and backed up service • Time efficiency and flexible working • 24/7 visibility of workforce payroll • No prior payroll knowledge is required • Users do not need to store software locally; therefore no additional in-house IT support is needed and all maintenance is carried out by CCM.
• Data collation issues can be avoided by easy access to simple online forms, so there is no need to transport documents to and from the payroll office ( e.g. spread sheets, payslips)
• After data input and authorisation, all payroll is promptly managed, accurately calculated and systematically presented by LivePay as either online payslips or as hard copies if preferred In addition to its prescribed advantages, LivePay can also empower those responsible payrollers to focus more time on other duties, as well allowing them to make more accurate or strategic decisions based on the payroll data to hand.
